Thanksgiving 2007

For the first time in years, we went away for Thanksgiving!  Starting "dark and early" on the Sunday before Thanksgiving (i.e., 4 am!), we drove through South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois to get to Aunt Kristine's house in Champaign, Illinois.  We joined Aunt Kristine, Uncle Alan, Cousins Maddy and Ryan, and dog Miniut, and then Mom Mom and Pop Pop arrived a few days later.  We took a couple days and visited the zoo in Bloomington and the Children's Museum in Decatur.  We even drove on part of Historic Route 66!  Finally headed home on Saturday.  We had a wonderful visit with some wonderful people, and got to enjoy some time off.  You can read our blog entry about the trip at Our Little Corner Of The Upstate. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
